Making a Donation to the Renewable Energy Foundation
Without generous private donations the Foundation would be unable to continue the valuable work it does in bringing objective information to an often overheated debate. Making a donation to the charity is simple; just send a cheque made out to The Renewable Energy Foundation, and send it to the address below:
- Renewable Energy Foundation
- 21 John Adam Street,
- London,
- WC2N 6JG
If possible please make your donation as Gift Aid by filling out the accompanying declaration of intent: Gift Aid Declaration.
Making a Gift Aid Declaration costs you nothing and greatly increases the value of your gift to the Charity. The Treasury explains Gift Aid in these words:
Gift Aid is a tax relief that was introduced in 1990 to encourage gifts of money to charities. Gift Aid enables sums of money given to charity by individual UK taxpayers to be treated as if they were net of basic rate income tax. The charity can then claim repayment equivalent to the basic rate of tax from HM Revenue & Customs (HMRC).
For further information please see the Treasury's leaflet, Gift Aid Explained.
